House of Blessings Foundation

The founding of House of Blessings was inspired by a loving lady Helena Wong who showed us what compassion is.

House of Blessings was established in 2007 to provide hope, opportunities, and a productive future for orphans. House of Blessings evolved from our initial work on orphanages in China.

House of Blessings existed to provide hope in an otherwise hopeless situation. Our initial program in 2007 provided assistance to young orphans and adult orphans.

For young orphans that we had helped, they grew up to be useful young members of the community.

For adult orphans with mild disabilities that we met, we thought some were mentally disabled and we were concerned if we would be able to effectively help them. Later we realised it was because they were so timid with strangers – they dared not look them in the eye.  Our sponsored charities  gave them love, respect, care, shared the meaning of life, imparted knowledge, educational support, and provided training in life skills. The transformations were wonderful and numerous positive changes occurred in their lives which greatly encouraged us.

It is our desire to continue to make a difference in the lives of orphans and underprivileged children of any age by equipping them to become independent persons.  We are eager to guide and assist them to become productive members of their community. As we share our hopes and experiences, we strive to help them lay a solid foundation for their lives in order that they can be blessed with courage and hope.

The vision expanded to other areas of focus on kids including loss of sight or hearing, and other communities with poverty issues.
